Tindak Ilokusi Komentar Juri dalam Acara TV America’s Got Talent dan Indonesia’s Got Talent

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis dan fungsi tindak ilokusi juri America’s Got Talent dan Indonesia’s Got Talent serta melihat apakah persepsi konvensional telah berubah. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan data transkripsi ucapan juri pada babak audisi dari 5 video YouTube dalam kedua acara. Data dianalisis menggunakan teori tindak ilokusi Yule. Hasil analisis mendapati bahwa kedua budaya unggul dalam penggunaan tindak direktif. Hal ini menyiratkan bahwa kedua budaya menyukai interaksi yang jelas ketika berbicara. Kesadaran relasi hierarki memungkinkan juri memegang otoritas dalam mengarahkan dan mengevaluasi kontestan, sehingga interaksi dapat berjalan lancar. Dalam sudut pandang pragmatik lintas budaya, hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa orang Indonesia lebih ekspresif dan orang Amerika lebih terbuka atau to the point. Tindak ekspresif meminta maaf hanya ditemukan dalam konteks Indonesia. Orang Indonesia lebih banyak menggunakan tindak ekspresi berterima kasih dan orang Amerika lebih banyak menggunakan strategi pujian tidak langsung daripada orang Indonesia.Downloads
