REPRESENTASI KOTA SURABAYA DALAM SIARAN RADIO “SUARA SURABAYA”: ANALISIS WACANA KRITIS FAIRCLOUGH

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis representasi Kota Surabaya dalam siaran radio Suara Surabaya program Kelana Kota. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data berupa tuturan penyiar dan kontributor dikumpulkan melalui perekaman pada 1–8 Desember 2025, lalu dianalisis menggunakan paradigma Analisis Wacana Kritis (AWK) Norman Fairclough. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga temuan utama. Secara tekstual, wacana didominasi oleh isu lalu lintas, kriminalitas, dan dampak cuaca yang dibentuk melalui fitur kebahasaan seperti diksi, eufemisme, nominalisasi, dan modalitas. Pada dimensi praktik wacana, produksi teks melibatkan penyiar selaku wakil lembaga media dan kontributor sebagai wakil masyarakat, dengan distribusi yang dikelola oleh penyiar melalui pembingkaian narasi untuk menjaga prinsip keberimbangan. Pada dimensi sosiokultural, diskursus mengenai tata ruang kota mencerminkan konstruksi evaluasi dan ekspektasi kritis masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan tata ruang publik. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi pengambil kebijakan untuk mengevaluasi penanganan isu spasial di Surabaya, serta memberikan implikasi teoretis bagi pengembangan riset pustaka mengenai AWK pada media radio interaktif.Downloads
