Seputar Bahasa Maanyan dan Dialek-Dialeknya (Sebuah Tinjauan Awal)

Bahasa Maanyan merupakan bahasa yang memiliki penutur cukup luas. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengan tujuan 1) mendeskripsikan persentase kognat bahasa Maanyaan pada empat titik pengamatan, yaitu Desa Batapah (MB), Desa Malungai (MM), Desa Ipu Mea (MIM), dan Desa Warukin (MW); 2) mendeskripsikan korespondensi bunyi yang ada di antara empat titik pengamatan bahasa Maanyan tersebut; dan 3) mendeskripsikan perubahan bunyi sporadis. Pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, teknik simak dan catat, pengolahan data dengan metode leksikostatistik. Hasil yang ditemukan adalah ditemukan 1) persentase kata kerabat keempat titik pengamatan MW-MB-82%, MW-MM 78%, MW-MIM 80,5%, MB-MM: 79%, MB-MIM 83%, MM-MIM 77,5%; 2) korespondensi bunyi antartitik pengamatan bahasa Maanyan adalah a) arah korespondensi bunyi [ Φ-b- Φ-b], dan korespondensi bunyi [b-b- Φ –b]; b) variasi bunyi glottal (?), c) korespondensi bunyi [kŋ]-[ŋ], dan d) perubahan bunyi sporadis sinkop dan metatesis.Downloads
